Education in Muskogee
Muskogee offers a diverse range of educational opportunities from public and private schools, specialty schools, and higher education with both 2- and 4-year college campuses.
Early Childhood - 12th Grade
The City boasts the award-winning Muskogee Public Schools and Hilldale Public Schools, which offer primary and secondary education from early childhood through 12th grade.
We currently have three private schools in Muskogee - St. Joseph Catholic School, Muskogee Seventh-Day Adventist Christian Academy and Boulevard Christian School.
Muskogee is also home to Indian Capital Technology Center hosting classes for both school-age children and continuing education for adults as well.
Muskogee is home to the only school solely devoted to the blind or visually impaired. The Oklahoma School for the Blind provides education options from infancy to age 21.
Presently, we have three college campuses in Muskogee. Connors State College offers 2-year degree programs while Northeastern State University and Bacone College each offer 4-year degree programs as well as post-graduate studies.
