Amendment to Declaration of Emergency Requires Face Masks in City Facilities

At the Monday, July 27, 2020 City Council meeting, the council amended Resolution 2801 (Declaration of Emergency) to include direction to citizens and employees to wear face masks/coverings when in city owned/operated facilities. 

The following is the official adopted language of the amendment to the resolution: 

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this Fourth Amended Resolution shall remain in effect until further action or order by the City Council of the City of Muskogee;

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that this Fourth Amended Resolution is not intended to, and shall not, replace or supersede, but shall supplement, City of Muskogee Second Amended Resolution No. 2803, and any subsequent Amendments.

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that as of July 27, 2020, face coverings shall be required to be worn, in accordance with CDC guidelines, for all members of the public who enter, and while at, any City owned and/or operated facilities.

IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that as of July 27, 2020, the City Manager is hereby directed to establish and enforce a policy for the wearing of face coverings for employees of all city owned and/or operated facilities.
